Emma was diagnosed, at the age of 7, in August of 2011, with ALL (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia). She has been in remission for almost 4 years. She is now 13 and doing very well :)
Over the past 6 years, Team Emma has raised over $100,000 through your generous donations. Last year, because of your support, Dr. Weili Sun of City of Hope, was awarded the 2017 Emma Wood Seed Grant to further her research for pediatric Leukemia. Dr. Sun was also Emma's doctor at Children's Hospital LA.
